What is the refund policy for subscriptions?

First-time subscribers are eligible for a full refund under the following conditions: (1) The refund request is submitted within 7 calendar days of the initial payment date; and (2) Fewer than 50 credits have been consumed on the account at the time of the request. If both conditions are met, you will receive a 100% refund of the subscription fee paid. This 7-day refund window applies only to your first subscription payment on a new account. Subsequent monthly or annual renewal charges are non-refundable, regardless of usage. Upgrading or downgrading your plan mid-cycle does not reset the refund eligibility window.

What is the refund policy for annual plans?

Annual plan subscriptions are subject to the same 7-day first-payment refund window described above. If you purchase an annual plan and request a refund within 7 days with fewer than 50 credits used, you will receive a full refund. After the 7-day window closes, annual subscriptions are non-refundable. We do not issue pro-rated refunds for the unused portion of an annual subscription term. If you cancel an annual plan mid-year, you retain access to the service through the end of the paid annual period, but no partial refund is issued.

What is the refund policy for credit packs?

Separately purchased credit packs are eligible for a full refund only if: (1) No credits from the pack have been used at the time of the refund request; and (2) The request is made within 14 calendar days of the purchase date. Once any credits from a credit pack have been consumed — even a single credit — the pack becomes non-refundable. This policy exists because credits are immediately available and consumed upon use, making partial refunds impractical. If you accidentally purchased the wrong pack and have not used any credits, please contact us promptly.

What is not eligible for a refund?

The following are explicitly non-refundable: (1) Any subscription renewal charge (second billing cycle onward); (2) Credit packs from which any credits have been used; (3) Unused subscription credits remaining at the end of a billing cycle (credits reset, they are not refunded); (4) Subscription fees for accounts that have been suspended or terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service — policy violations forfeit refund eligibility; (5) Charges disputed through a chargeback with your bank or card issuer before contacting us — initiating a chargeback will result in immediate account suspension pending investigation; (6) Promotional, discounted, or gifted subscriptions unless required by applicable law.

What if I was charged incorrectly or experienced a billing error?

If you believe you were billed in error — for example, charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or charged after cancellation — please contact us within 30 days of the charge at support@gptimager.com. Include your account email address, the date of the charge, and the amount. We will investigate and, if an error is confirmed, process a correction or full refund promptly regardless of the standard refund window. Billing records are maintained by our payment processor; we may request additional verification to confirm your identity before processing a billing error correction.

How do I request a refund?

To request a refund, email support@gptimager.com with the subject line 'Refund Request'. Please include: (1) The email address associated with your GPT Image 2 account; (2) The date of the charge; (3) The plan name or credit pack purchased; (4) A brief reason for the request (optional, but helpful). We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and respond with an approval or explanation within 2 business days. If approved, we will initiate the refund through our payment processor on the same day we notify you.

How long does it take to receive a refund?

Once a refund is approved and initiated by us through our payment processor, the timeline depends on your payment method: (1) Credit and debit cards — typically 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer and bank's processing time; (2) PayPal or other digital wallets — typically 3 to 5 business days. We have no control over how quickly your bank processes the credit once the payment processor releases it. If you have not seen your refund after 10 business days, contact your bank first, then reach out to us at support@gptimager.com with your refund confirmation email.

Can I get a refund if I cancel mid-subscription cycle?

No. Canceling your subscription mid-cycle does not entitle you to a pro-rated refund for the remaining days in the billing period. When you cancel, your subscription remains active and you retain full access to the service until the end of the current paid billing period. After that date, your account is downgraded and no further charges are made. If you are within the 7-day first-payment window and meet the usage threshold, you may request a full refund and cancel simultaneously — just contact us at support@gptimager.com.
